THESIS Thursday, March 14, 2024, today is a very cold day. heavy rain occurs in the city of Semarang. Many areas are harmed because of this heavy rain, many houses are flooded, many roads are damaged and so on. This heavy rain is very detrimental to the community. ARGUMENT 1 Roads were damaged everywhere, heavy rains hampered transportation. Some roads are waterlogged, flooding is very high, people find it difficult to carry out daily activities. Schools were closed, employees worked at home. Even very high dams were unable to withstand the heavy rains, resulting in flooding. ARGUMENT 2 This flooding is very inconvenient for motorists and pedestrians. Motorcyclists are forced to push their motorcycles because they are submerged in the flood, while pedestrians have to fight against the flood current to get to their destination.
